Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. North Richland Hills Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you send a message, we receive the information in that message and use it to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Hosting systems create standard server logs, such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies and similar tools may also support basic analytics or, if present, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information supports site operation, issue diagnosis, traffic measurement, and content improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to Tarrant County and Texas record portals, library collections, archives, and outside search services. Each destination controls information entered there under its own privacy terms. This includes sponsored search results supplied by an independent provider.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure or as otherwise described in this policy.
Data Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. Because there are no user accounts, the service does not hold a visitor password or profile for exposure.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor sent us information, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Rights
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas Business and Commerce Code ยง541.001 et seq., effective July 1, 2024, describes rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out in covered circumstances. Because we retain very little, a request generally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page for a request. Government records are governed separately by the Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code chapter 552 and record-specific confidentiality rules; requests concerning an official record belong with its custodian.
Changes to This Policy
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after a revision means that you accept the updated policy.
